Ballarat Community Health is a registered NDIS provider.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) aims to provide eligible people with the supports needed to pursue their goals and aspirations and participate in everyday life.

The NDIS will roll out in Victoria from 1 July 2016:

The NDIS will become available in the Central Highlands area from 1 January 2017.

The Central Highlands area covers the local government areas of:

  • Ararat
  • Ballarat
  • Golden Plains
  • Hepburn
  • Moorabool
  • Pyrenees

Who is eligible?

People who currently have or are likely to have a permanent disability, aged up to 64 years.

What should you do to prepare?

Do you currently access disability services?

If yes, you will be contacted directly by the NDIS.

If not, call NDIS directly on 1800 800 110.

From 2017 Ballarat Community Health will provide NDIS services in the areas of

  • Improved health and wellbeing
  • Coordination of Supports and specializing in psychosocial disability
  • Participation in the community
  • Improved daily living skills.

Any client with disability can access any BCH services as a member of the community.
