Ballarat Community Health continues to expand its reach with the newest site in Victoria Street, East Ballarat and we invite you to take a look and explore the services on offer to the community.

On Thursday 13th December, Ballarat Community Health on Victoria Street will open its doors to gather with the clients and community who make the organisation it is today.

Opened in 2017, the service has been serving the health needs of members of the Ballarat community and beyond. It now has completed its refurbishment and runs a number of programs including alcohol and other drugs education and support, day rehabilitation programs, counselling, an ART program and NSP (needle syringe program).

“This site is a wonderful building providing really important programs that help people to turn their lives around. Whether they have had challenges with alcohol and other drugs, mental health or something else, our doors here at BCH are open to providing that support,” CEO Sean Duffy said.

The open day will involve a tour of the building, speeches from key stakeholders, an art exhibition with a vibrant recognition of International Day for People with a Disability and photo and interview opportunities.

Traditionally an appointment only site, Victoria Street is now open Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm for drop in visits and to find out more information people can visit our website or call us on (03) 5338 4500.
