Refugee health nurse
The Ballarat Community Health refugee health nurse co-ordinates access to healthcare for newly-arrived refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, and assists them in working towards independence.
The program also provides ongoing healthcare and support to immigrant families and individuals.
This program runs from 3:00-7:00pm on the first Tuesday of every month. Initial appointments are 60 to 90 minutes. Further appointments are made as required. Telephone interpreter services are used as required. Waiting periods may apply—an intake worker will assess priority.
For more information or to book an appointment, make an enquiry or request a call via the customer service menu on the right-hand side of your screen. Alternatively, call us directly on (03) 5338 4500.
