Speech pathology

Communication is one our greatest tools as humans, but it’s not necessarily a simple tool to wield, or to use well.

Speech impediments and disorders are very common, and speech pathologists are there to help you with diagnosis and management or recovery.

Our BCH speech pathologists are university-trained allied health professionals with expertise in the assessment and treatment of communication and/or swallowing difficulties.

You might find seeing a speech pathologist beneficial for:

  • speech impediments or stutters
  • voice difficulties or disorders
  • language delay
  • social communication difficulties
  • literacy impairments
  • swallowing disorders
  • autism spectrum disorder
  • cognitive disorders, and more.
