Strength for Life
On temporary hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Strength for Life program provides strength training specifically designed to meet the physical health and activity needs of people over the age of 50.
This program is a safe, supportive environment in which to explore your health and fitness, and also gives an opportunity to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee after each session. It includes initial and ongoing assessments so that your program can be tailored to your specific needs and abilities. Our program facilitators are fully qualified and committed exercise physiologists.
To register for this program you must have been through the Ballarat Community Health intake process, which includes an assessment from a BCH exercise physiologist or physiotherapist, as well as filling out a pre-exercise screening tool form.
For more information, make an enquiry via the customer service menu to the right-hand side of your screen, call us on (03) 5338 4593 to speak to the intake worker, or fax 5339 3044.
