In western countries it is best known as a gentle form of exercise paired with breathing exercises and meditation, which helps to calm the mind and improve the flow of oxygen to vital organs.

The benefits of yoga are not simply physical, but can also improve mental and emotional wellbeing. Substantial research has been conducted around the health benefits of yoga, encompassing various postures, yoga breathing and meditation.

Cost is $6 per session or $60 for a 12-visit pass. Yoga classes are free for members of the Lucas gym at BCH.
