Prepare to Drive 2021

BGT are offering a Prepare to Drive course which will provide the skills and knowledge to pass the Victorian Learner Driver Test.

During the course participants will also get a chance to meet staff from the L2P Program and VicRoads.

The program will run twice a week, on Wednesday and Thursday for four weeks. The program will conclude with sitting the test at VicRoads.

When is the program:

The program will start on Wednesday July 14 at 25-39 Barkly Square between 10am and 3pm.

Are you eligible?

  • Aged between 17-19 years: not engaged in education or training for six months or more (less than 8 hours per week).
  • Aged between 20-64 years: Unemployed for six months or more (less than 8 hours per week) and not engaged in education or training for six months or more (less than 8 hours per week).
  • Young people (17 to 24 years of age) who have been, or are currently on, Youth Justice Orders.
  • Asylum Seekers (A person without citizenship but holds a valid: Bridging Visa Class E (BE); Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV); or Temporary Protection Visa (TPV).
