Youth outreach

The youth outreach program provides a holistic approach to working with at-risk young people aged 11-25 years in their own environment, assisting individuals and family members with alcohol or drug related issues.

Our program works within a harm minimisation framework, providing clinical assessment and case management on an outreach basis to young people in their own environment or at BCH facilities. Our youth outreach workers provide support to both mandated and voluntary clients living in the Central Highlands region. In addition, they can provide secondary consultation and health promotion. Clients also have the choice to work with a female or male worker.
