Family violence counselling
Counselling is a way to talk about your current situation, and offers you assistance in learning skills to enhance your autonomy, health and wellbeing.
Do you feel:
- Isolated from family or friends?
- Constantly criticised, or made to feel worthless?
- Afraid to disagree?
- Pressured or vulnerable?
- That your children are being bullied?
This service is open to anyone who has experienced abuse or still experiences abuse in their relationship with a partner or family member. Check out the 1800RESPECT campaign ‘That is Violence‘ for some more resources and information.
Family violence counselling runs Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00pm. Counselling sessions are one hour for initial sessions and further appointments are made as required. For more information or to make a booking, make an enquiry through the customer service menu to the right-hand side of your screen. Alternatively, call us directly on (03) 5338 4500 or fax 5339 3044. Please note that waiting times may apply—an intake worker will assess priority.
This program is free.
