The annual National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you.
This year we celebrated our BCH volunteers with an outdoors-indoors picnic at Cooinda. Complete with fake grass – thanks to Ballarat Ground Works generous donation (which will now help furnish the children’s area at the Wendouree site) – we had a packed lunch for each guest and a small gift to say thanks for everything our wonderful volunteers do.
Ellery Hickson, Executive Manager People & Culture and Danielle Walker, Executive Manager Corporate Services introduced the day and thanked the participants for their contributions, before the U3A Ballarat Ukelele band entertained us all with a show.
