BCH welcomes new Howitt St, Wendouree GP team

In the coming weeks two of our Lucas GPs, Dr. Hanif and Dr. Freeman will be relocating to our 1042 Howitt Street, Wendouree practice. Patients will be informed in advance of their commencement dates.

We also recently welcomed Dr. Richa Sabharwal to the team allowing for more diversity of expertise and patient access to appointments.

Our purpose is to provide accessible, affordable and quality health and wellbeing services.

We recognise this may be an inconvenience for some of our clients, however the continuity of care remains the same.

Why is my GP moving?

After experiencing significant growth across its many community health care services, Ballarat Community Health is realigning the organisation to ensure we can continue to provide quality, affordable health care for everyone, particularly those that need our help most.

What benefits will there be?

The movement of our GPs to Howitt Street will provide several key benefits including having a pool of highly experienced GPs with specialist interests in the one practice, greater appointment opportunities to see a GP and a more central location for many of our existing patients.

Allied Health and Nursing services will still be available from the Howitt Street practice.
