Here are some fantastic resources to keep students engaged and entertained while learning from home.

Videos for Change engage young people from Grades 7 to 12 to create a one-minute video on a social issue they feel passionate about. Past participants have covered issues such as social inclusion, racism, domestic violence, gender equality, LGBTQI rights, and bullying. By entering a video, you can speak up for something you’d like to change in your world, or speak up for someone who can’t.

eSafety Commissioner has a range of resources specifically for young people, to help you stay safe and healthy whilst using technology.


ABC TV
has lots of resources to help you in learning from home, including videos, games and articles.

 

Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) advocate for young people and represent the youth sector to uphold the rights of all young Victorians. They have a wide range of information and resources on their website.

Whether you’re at home or at school, you can use BBC Teach for free. This website is home to thousands of free curriculum-mapped videos, arranged by age-group and subject. Please note this is not the Australian curriculum, but the site has some wonderful and educational animations and links to entertain and educate children.
