Finding Your Community
Real Stories
Mental health
As far as the mental health is concerned, I’m somebody who benefited enormously from being referred on to a psychologist. I can sit here and tell you that I still don’t understand how it works, you know, but it really benefited me. All I used to do was go and talk for an hour, you know, like I didn’t appear to leave with formulas and I genuinely would find it really hard to explain how it works. All I know is that it did work. I no longer have that type of support in my life. I did have it for a number of years and I really, really benefited, you know.
