Government commits $2.2m to Ice Action Plan role out in Regional Victoria

Under the Ice-Action Plan, the Government has committed $2.2 million worth of funds to Ballarat Community Health in conjunction with our service partners to provide a non-residential rehabilitation program to the region, for the next 4 years. Minister for Housing, Disability and Ageing; Mental Health; Equality; and Creative Industries Minister Martin Foley confirmed the current state government’s commitment to providing and supporting community based programs across the state.

Central Highlands Advocacy Health Alliance (AHA)

Federation University Australia (Fed Uni) in collaboration with Central Highlands Community Legal Centre and Ballarat Community Health have been awarded a major grant from the Victorian Legal Services Board to establish the Central Highlands Advocacy Health Alliance (AHA) to improve legal, health and wellbeing outcomes for disadvantaged young people.
