Ballarat Community Food Security Partnership Project
The Ballarat Foundation has committed funding to the Food Access Network (FAN) administered by Ballarat Community Health (BCH) to facilitate the Ballarat Community Food Security Partnership Project program. The funding will support FAN to create an integrated response to food insecurity in the community, and investigate the establishment of a food hub in Ballarat.
NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) at BCH
The NDIS will become available in the Central Highlands area from 1 January 2017. From 2017 Ballarat Community Health will provide NDIS services in the areas of:
- Improved health and wellbeing
- Coordination of Supports and specialising in psychosocial disability
- Participation in the community
- Improved daily living skills
